Another great experience with VSL. I rented a mountain bike from them five years ago and had a great experience, so I used them again on my return trip to Incline Village. I had the Santa Cruz Hightower this time around and couldn't have been more happy with the amazing bike. Everyone at the shop was friendly and helpful, and one of the mechanics went out of his way to let me test ride a few other bikes while I was waiting on my ride to pick me up afterward. Highly recommend Village Ski Loft!

Had a great customer service experience at Village Ski Loft recently. I went in with a problem with my daughter's ski binding and Mr. Elko James took the time to explain how to safely fix the problem and even gave me a bit of hardware to make it happen. I have often purchased ski/bike items from the store as they have really great quality gear and a great on-site shop, but I was blown away by the time and detail that Mr. Elko took to explain how to fix my problem. Just a good honest expert helping a dad make his kid's ski safe. Thanks for a great experience!

World-Class bootfitting services at honest prices. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, & just as warm and helpful w/ renters as experts seeking high-end gear & tuning. Elko is a bootfitting guru: his orthotics took boot performance for both of my junior racers to next level. This shop is well worth the drive over from Truckee if you want to be treated like a local rather than a tourist waiting to be fleeced: I’ve had bootfitting work done at four of Truckee’s most “reputable” shops and experienced hidden labor fees, punitive pricing for work on boots purchased elsewhere, long waits for appointments, & condescending attitudes that no newbie, much less a 40yr veteran & ex-fitter should have ruin what should be a joyful trip to the snow-toy store.

Got a pair of $45 gloves used one day and had holes and loose thread tried to return them the next day and say I have to reach out to fox themselves they don't stand behind the quality of their products spent a total of $2,500 on products and can't return some faulty gloves me and the family never coming back.

This is the best and most generous ski and bike shop in the Tahoe area. Seriously. I am incredibly thankful for Village Ski Loft and the amazing people who work here. I got my skis and my snowboard here years ago. The staff was super helpful and patient both times. Then, recently, when part of my snowboard binding came off and got lost on the mountain, the workers at VSL replaced it with a spare part and didn’t charge me a penny! In contrast, I’ve gone to other ski places (cough Olympic Ski & bike next to Palisades cough) that charged $20 for just moving my snowboard bindings closer together by 1 inch — I was asking out of convenience since I was already there, not because I didn’t know how to do it myself at home.

You won't be dissapointed by VSL. Quick service and save some serious $$$ over renting at the resorts. Plus they have a an epic icicle this year out front.

Used Google to find a place this was cheaper than everyone else and just as close to the trails as the others. The boys that work here are so helpful and kind and walk you thru everything you need. Pick this place and come early!! So happy I found this bike rental place. Will be back!!!
